Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

foreman_openscap package is looking for all the datasreams provided by scap-security-guide rpm and create default SCAP content of it [1]
It seems that in the scap-security-guide package created for rhel6 there is only one datastream, for rhel 6.

My suggestion is to unify scap-security-guide rpm so it will contain 3 datastreams: rhel6, rhel7 & fedora

Comment 6 Šimon Lukašík 2015-06-16 10:34:39 UTC
Suggestion dismissed. :-)

I don't think RHEL-6.9 will be shipping (fast evolving) RHEL-7 content.

Comment 9 Kedar Bidarkar 2015-07-22 12:27:47 UTC
As per comment 5, I want to state here that

For OSCAP configured on RHEL66, only RHEL6-oscap-content ds-stream.xml is automatically created and not for RHEL7 as scap-security-guide rpm delivered with RHEL66 OS does not contain it.

Comment 10 Kedar Bidarkar 2015-07-22 12:30:11 UTC
But RHEL6 content is visible automatically under the OSCAP content.

VERIFIED with snap13-c1

Comment 11 Šimon Lukašík 2015-07-24 07:04:12 UTC
Thanks Kedar for detailed info.

I just wanted to add that we have just shipped new scap-security-guide in RHEL-6.7 that contains RHEL6 *and* RHEL7 content.
