Description of problem: when running tests (at least with -hardware, checking others) with the debug button checked on the results page has no affect on non-interactive tests. Interactive tests seem to display the debug output, when the user navigates to the page with interaction (like the suspend test). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): redhat-certification-1.0-20150617.1.el7 redhat-certification-hardware-1.7.1-20150616.el7 How reproducible: reliably. There's not an obvious way to see the debug output. Actual results: No web page with debug output for non-interactive tests. Expected results: Debug output printed to the screen. Additional info: when running both interactive & non-interactive tests, like when running a non-interactive test on a laptop, only the interactive tests print debug output.
The debug setting (bottom of the configuration page) enables the live client log display.
tested again in: redhat-certification-2.0-20151008.el7 redhat-certification-hardware-1.7.1-20150901.el7 The global debug flag works for both interactive and non-interactive tests. The debug window on the page is enabled, and debug output is printed in that window. The debug flag on the test run / results page in description still has no effect, on either interactive or non-interactive tests. Does this need further development for a complete fix?
verified in testing described in comment 3. The noop flag on the test results page has been moved to bug 1277192.
