Description of problem:
Unable to successfully assign resource groups to a role if inventory contains over 100 resource groups. When trying to assign any group over the first 100 listed, the currently assigned resource groups are removed and the 100+ groups are never assigned.  As well, using the search filter clears the assigned groups, which do not reappear after the search filter is reset.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Generate over 100 resource groups
2. Add search filter to find groups 101 or higher
3. Edit role to assign group 101 or higher to role
4. Save role
5. Reopen role to observe currently assigned resource groups

Actual results:
Resource groups are removed from the role's assigned column.

Expected results:
Newly added resource group 101 should be appended to the currently assigned resource group list

Additional info:
This appears to be a related to the search filter, as entering a filter and then clearing it clears the assigned resource groups list.  Even though the only part of the editor that was touched was the search filter, if the role is then saved all current resource groups assigned to the role are removed (as the assigned list is now empty in the editor).
