Document URL:

Section Number and Name:

7.4. SMB

Describe the issue:

The DOC says:

"To be able mount from any server in the trusted storage pool, repeat these steps on each Red Hat Storage node. For more advanced configurations, refer to the Samba documentation."

Suggestions for improvement:

It is a known issue that using samba from multiple heads without CTDB will cause data corruption. We should clearly note that if the steps are repeated on more than one server in the trusted pool CTDB MUST be used.

The restructured content has CTDB included as part of the multi node setup, verified.
