Description of problem: While creating a puddle for RH-Gluster-console variant on RHGS-3.1-RHEL-6, got the below repo-closure error as install dependency packages "python-pep8" and "pyflakes" are missing. The same dependency error happens for nagios-server-addons-tests-0.2.1-2.el6rhs.noarch also. *** package: gluster-nagios-common-tests-0.2.0-1.el6rhs.noarch from file:///mnt/redhat/devel/sgirijan/puddles/RHGS/3.1-RHEL-6-Console/2015-06-29.2/RH-Gluster-3-Console/x86_64/os unresolved deps: *** python-pep8 *** pyflakes *** package: nagios-server-addons-tests-0.2.1-2.el6rhs.noarch from file:///mnt/redhat/devel/sgirijan/puddles/RHGS/3.1-RHEL-6-Console/2015-06-29.2/RH-Gluster-3-Console/x86_64/os unresolved deps: *** python-pep8 *** pyflakes Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gluster-nagios-common-tests-0.2.0-1.el6rhs.noarch nagios-server-addons-tests-0.2.1-2.el6rhs.noarch How reproducible: Initiating a puddle for RH-Gluster-console variant in RHGS-3.1-RHEL-6 Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: repo closure errors causing puddle to fail. Expected results: No repo closure errors Additional info:
The gluster-nagios-common-tests and nagios-server-addons-tests are python test files with unit tests for the packaged files. These are not required in puddle.
gluster-nagios-common-tests and nagios-server-addons-tests sub-pkgs (rpms) removed from ISO and puddle (on both RHEL-6 and RHEL-7 based) as they are not required.
Comment 4 and Comment 5 doen't help to fix the dependency issue mentioned here. Also, these sub-pkgs have been removed from product-listing under all variants. Closing this bug.
This bug mentions only about gluster-nagios-common-tests-0.2.0-1.el6rhs and nagios-server-addons-tests-0.2.1-4.el6rhs . so This should not have been made FailedQA
Please fix this Bug 1236494 also for RHEL7 via Bug 1243326.
