Description of problem: I use Totem Movie Player to watch videos frequently, and frequently use space key to pause and resume. X.org just crashes during this process. GNOME 3 then comes backs to the login promote. It happened several times. Another user experienced a similar problem: I was watching a video in totem. Didn't do anything specific, just was watching the video and then X suddenly crashed. reporter: libreport-2.6.1 backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: /usr/libexec/Xorg vt2 -displayfd 3 -auth /run/user/1000/gdm/Xauthority -nolisten tcp -background none -noreset -keeptty -verbose 3 crash_function: FreePixmap executable: /usr/libexec/Xorg global_pid: 3096 kernel: 4.0.8-300.fc22.x86_64 package: xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.17.2-1.fc22 reason: Xorg killed by SIGABRT runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
I was using Totem to watch a movie, I tried to rewind a little bit then X crashed. This happened to me a lot of times, but sometimes GNOME shell crashes and other times X crashes. the common factor is that dleyna server crashes too. I already added myself to those 2 bugs which are related: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208905 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1196485
This report seems related as well: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1244373 This only seems to happen in Totem as far as I have seen. VLC doesn't seem to trigger this problem.
