Description of problem: RHCS 1.3 currently ships a patched version of 0.94.1. It would be nice to ship a newer version so we stay close to upstream. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Subscribe a node to a RHCS 1.3 channel 2. yum list ceph Actual results: 0.94.1 is available Expected results: 0.94.2 is available
In our planning session earlier this week we discussed rebasing RHCS to the latest version as a part of the 1.3.1 release.
Not sure why this got re-targeted. I imagine we want to base all our work on 0.94.2 for 1.3.1.
As part of this change, I'll convert the "ceph" package in dist-git to use the rdopkg utility. This is going to ease patch management going forward.
0.94.3 is out, and we'll rebase to that version for RHCS 1.3.1.
Verified. On the latest 1.3.1 RHEL and Ubuntu machines: $ sudo ceph -v ceph version 0.94.3 (95cefea9fd9ab740263bf8bb4796fd864d9afe2b) ceph-common-0.94.3-2.el7cp.x86_64 ceph-osd-0.94.3-2.el7cp.x86_64 ceph-0.94.3-2.el7cp.x86_64 ubuntu@magna043:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ dpkg -l | grep ceph ii ceph 0.94.3.2-1trusty amd64 distributed storage and file system ii ceph-common 0.94.3.2-1trusty amd64 common utilities to mount and interact with a ceph storage cluster ii libapache2-mod-fastcgi 2.4.7~0910052141-ceph1 amd64 Apache 2 FastCGI module for long-running CGI scripts ii libcephfs1 0.94.3.2-1trusty amd64 Ceph distributed file system client library ii python-cephfs 0.94.3.2-1trusty amd64 Python libraries for the Ceph libcephfs library
