Description Matthias Runge 2015-07-03 09:53:20 UTC
Description of problem:

now that keystone and horizon are being served from httpd, it still makes sense to keep log files where they have been.

horizon used to log to /var/log/horizon
where keystone used /var/log/keystone.

I would expect. the latter is still true, when you're installing keystone as standalone version.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kilo

Could you give more context, like which installer are you running?
It sounds like packstack, but I need to be sure.
Thanks

Comment 4 Matthias Runge 2015-12-02 19:51:09 UTC
Emilien, this was packstack, I haven't checked OSP-d yet.

Comment 5 Emilien Macchi 2015-12-03 14:21:13 UTC
@Matthias - OSP-d does not install anything under wsgi yet, so the bug is not in OSP-d - moving it to packstack now.

Comment 7 Christopher Brown 2017-06-17 17:04:06 UTC
Director/TripleO logs to /var/log/horizon but not /var/log/keystone.

I think its not a bad suggestion but this bug probably needs updating.

Comment 8 Matthias Runge 2017-06-18 07:49:28 UTC
I don't see anything that I can do right now.

Comment 9 Christopher Brown 2017-06-18 07:51:52 UTC
Ok, I'll close as should be moving to journal anyway. :)
