Description of problem: For cut/paste of a file or directory in nautilus, it used to be possible to right-click on one of the directories shown in the current path just above the display area (in the tool bar area) and get a menu option to "Paste into Folder". That option seems to have disappeared with an install of f22. That means it is no longer possible in general to paste a cut item into the currently open folder in a nautilus window when using a list display, except in the rare (for me) special case where the window is large enough and the number of files/directories small enough that there is an empty portion of the display window at the bottom where one can right-click without selecting a directory/file and do a Paste. This was a very useful feature when moving items from one nautilus window to another when you are also actively working the the contents of the target folder. The possible circumventions are to open another window or tab on the parent of the target directory to get the target directory into a display area where Paste into Folder is possible, or to switch from list to icon display and right-click and Paste on any part of the display area outside the file/directory icons. Both methods are less convenient for those of us who by default prefer List displays for their more compact information content. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.16.2 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.Cut/Copy an item from one nautilus window 2. Try to paste the item into the current folder that is displayed in another nautilus window that is in List display mode. Actual results: No Paste into Folder option on toolbar path directories. No Paste option in the display area that will paste into the currently open folder unless there is unused space at bottom of display. Expected results: Paste into Folder option on directory icons in the current path shwon in toolbar. Additional info:
I see the same issue (using archlinux). How to paste into the currently open Folder?
