Description Russel Winder 2015-07-12 10:01:37 UTC
Description of problem:

Evolution works fine in the main. When however an email is picked up from a folder contents listing, Evolution crashes.

If you are running evolution and click, hold and drag an email entry in the folder content list, the green plus sign quickly appears and a very short time later Evolution crashes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

About dialogue reports 3.17.3

How reproducible:

Every time.

I shall also report this to the Gnome bug repository and will cross reference this entry with that.

Comment 2 Milan Crha 2015-07-13 12:58:06 UTC
Thanks for a bug report, but, please, do not file bugs on multiple places, it just doubles the work (in case of the evolution packages). Let's move to the upstream bug report.

Comment 3 Russel Winder 2015-07-13 13:33:14 UTC
OK, sorry for breaking protocol. Is there a guide as to when to report here and when to report directly upstream?

Comment 4 Milan Crha 2015-07-14 04:55:32 UTC
I do not have any real guide for it. Regarding evolution packages, I prefer to use Fedora bugs for fedora-specific issues and for anything else use the upstream bugzilla, because it affects basically anyone. No doubt, it's sometimes hard to guess to which part the issue belongs.
