Description Giulio 'juliuxpigface' 2015-07-12 19:54:12 UTC
Description of problem:
Large part of the standard desktop of LXDE is broken. Actually, openbox isn't running by default. The compose I'm talking about, is the Nightly 20150704, which was selected by QA as part of the release validation testing for Fedora 23.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
lxsession-0.5.2-4.fc23.x86_64

How reproducible:
Happens every time I try to reproduce it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot the LXDE ISO of this compose.
2. Wait until the desktop is fully loaded.

Actual results:
1. Observe, for example, that windows are without borders.
2. Run 'ps aux' to discover that openbox isn't running by default.

Expected results:
1. The desktop environment MUST have its window manager running.
2. 'ps aux' should confirm that openbox is actually running.

Additional info:
1. There is an obvious workaround: simply launch openbox via lxterminal
2. The system installed with this ISO has also got this issue.

Comment 1 Mamoru TASAKA 2015-07-13 06:25:45 UTC
I think lxsession-0.5.2-5.fc23 should fix this issue.

Comment 2 Giulio 'juliuxpigface' 2015-07-21 19:03:50 UTC
I confirm that this issue isn't present on Fedora 23 Branched 20151704.
