Per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:WeakDependencies I think Recommends is fine for this, but if you want to go softer, Suggests works for that. 'git am'able fix attached, let me know if you'd like me to push and build this for devel.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 23 development cycle. Changing version to '23'.
