When I set the host to remote address, save the configuration and restart JBDS, the host is set to localhost.

Matus,

The localhost property you are defining is in the JBoss AS tooling page and not in Teiid Designer server editor.

This should probably be logged against JBoss AS tooling?

This should be moved to a JBoss AS Tools JIRA. I've pinged Rob Stryker and asked for an appropriate JIRA project to move TEIIDDES-2576 to.
