Description Thom Carlin 2015-07-17 13:42:39 UTC
Description of problem:

In New RHCI Deployment (Satellite web UI), configuring items until Installation Review, waiting overnight, then click Clicking Deploy or Cancel fails.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

/root/iso-media-id.txt
"This install was completed from an ISO with the Media ID 1436474521.698071 at 08:42:01 PM on 09 Jul 2015."

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. From New RHCI Deployment, go through steps until Installation Review
2. Wait for several hours
3. Click Deploy

Actual results:

"Deploy" button doesn't seem to do anything.

Expected results:

Deployment commencing

Additional info:

Cookies may have been deleted during the wait. Are there cookies used? If so, can we check/recover?

Clicking Back goes to "Red Hat Login" which says "This deployment already has a subscription management application name assign[sic] to it" so Can't click Next.
Clicking Back again goes to "Cloudforms > Configuration" which gives "There was an error trying to save [Object: Object]"

Navigating to RHCI/Installer > Deployments led to "There was an error trying to save [something about a handler but couldn't get it]"

Navigating to Infrastructure > Capsule led to login screen

Workaround:
1) Save frequently (perhaps auto-save at each step?)
2) Log out
3) Login
4) RHCI Installer > Deployment
5) Select Edit on Deployment
went to "Installation Review" Clicking Deploy resulted in "Customer portal credentials are not available"
6) Clicking back led to "Subscriptions > Red Hat Login". Clicking Next allowed repeating Installation steps (specifying login)
7) Installation Review > Deploy results in "Building task list"
