Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Tested with sssd-1.12.2-58.el7_1.14.x86_64 and libldb-1.1.20-1.el7rhgs.x86_64

1. Install sssd-1.12.2-58.el7 and libldb-1.1.17-2.el7.x86_64 in RHEL 7.1 system.

2. Configure system with AD provider.

3. Check for user lookup and Auth.

# getent passwd aduser1.com
aduser1.com:*:1999201104:1999200513:aduser1:/home/bumblebee.corp.com/aduser1:/bin/bash

# ssh -l aduser1.com localhost

4. Subscribe system to RH Storage channel to pull latest libldb package. Update libldb and sssd packages.

# yum update libldb 

This will update sssd also.

# rpm -q sssd
sssd-1.12.2-58.el7_1.14.x86_64
# rpm -q libldb
libldb-1.1.20-1.el7rhgs.x86_64

5. Verify for lookup/Auth.

# getent passwd aduser1.com
aduser1.com:*:1999201104:1999200513:aduser1:/home/bumblebee.corp.com/aduser1:/bin/bash

# ssh -l aduser1.com localhost
aduser1.com@localhost's password:
