Description RamaKasturi 2015-07-20 14:03:34 EDT
Description of problem:
When a cluster is imported into RHSC and put the hosts to maintenance, editing host protocol from xml rpc to json and activating does not work.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhsc-3.1.0-0.62.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a cluster of comptability version of 3.5
2. Now import the hosts to this cluster.
3. Once the hosts comes up, click on edit button and change the protocol to json.
4. Now click on activate.

Actual results:
Host does not get activated. First it remains in unassigned state, then goes to connecting to state and moves to non responsive state.

Expected results:
Host should get activated successfully and start using json protocol.

Moving BZ to ASSIGNED for proper closure of bug, since report of issue occurrence and report of issue 'fix' span across different release builds
Comment 12 Sahina Bose 2015-09-28 07:49:08 EDT
Please verify on latest build
Comment 13 RamaKasturi 2015-09-28 08:15:04 EDT
