Looks like an issue with the kernel on the live USB stick for Workstation

Running a full Fedora install with a recent kernel works
 * kernel-4.0.8-300.fc22.x86_64

Also tested with original kernel after a local HD install
 * kernel-4.0.4-301.fc22.x86_64

Right. Fedora doesn't respin release images, so an update is the only way to fix this. Since it is fixed in 4.0.8, we'll close this out.

Comment 12 Steven Ellis 2015-08-02 05:13:26 UTC
Issue re-occurs if Secure Boot is enabled.

Comment 14 Josh Boyer 2015-08-03 12:55:00 UTC
That doesn't make any sense at all. Unless the firmware is doing something really stupid, Secure Boot in the kernel shouldn't impact the touchpad at all.

Can you please attach the output from dmesg of both a SB and non-SB boot?

Comment 15 Steven Ellis 2015-09-01 01:21:36 UTC
Please leave closed. I've re-tested with Secure Boot on and the device is working with recent Fedora Kernels.
