Bandit, a security scanner in python, started to use python-appdirs. And so, as the package maintainer, I need it in EPEL7. Could a EPEL7 branch be done ?

Looks like this was resolved back in 2016 for stock EL7 python. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-b02f9e1187 I have an open pull request to enable the python36 subpackage as well. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-appdirs/pull-request/2
