Also, shouldn't OPTIONS="-Lsd -p /var/run/snmptrapd.pid" be [ -z "$OPTIONS" ] && OPTIONS="-Lsd -p /var/run/snmptrapd.pid" ? My understanding is that /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.options may be used to set options for snmptrapd, but those options are not used currently.
