Description of problem: libinput is a build dependency for a number of useful packages. An EPEL7 branch would be helpful for building these packages - in particular the calibre epub reader. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Whatever is current How reproducible:100% Steps to Reproduce: 1.RFE 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: The current version of the library would be just fine.
I have a copr for libinput, but I guess that's not quite enough, right? http://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/whot/libinput-epel7/
Alas, it is a BuildRequires for another package I'm trying to get into EPEL-7.
sorry for the delay here, I was travelling for a while. no problem with libinput as EPEL package, but it relies on libevdev which isn't in EPEL yet but is scheduled for 7.2. I don't know what the best procedure here is - wait until 7.2 is out, or build libevdev independently? I'd rather avoid the latter, given that it's extra work
I'd be fine with waiting until 7.2.
