Description of problem:
Current Firefox 40 on Fedora 22 x86_64 crashes quite often (up to multiple times per day) for me. It happens randomly, so no easy steps to reproduce. Just browse the web and eventually firefox will crash..

Randomly, but often. It has happened many times recently.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse the web.
3. firefox crashes.
Firefox crashes with SIGPIPE.
Firefox doesn't crash.
Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken pipe.

Btw this crash seems to be specific to Fedora build of Firefox. When I run the firefox binary provided by Mozilla it's stable - no crashes.
Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.
If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
