It happens randomly, so no easy steps to reproduce. Just browse the web and eventually firefox will crash.. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): firefox-40.0.3-1.fc22.x86_64 How reproducible: Randomly, but often. It has happened many times recently. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Browse the web. 2. ??? 3. firefox crashes. Actual results: Firefox crashes with SIGPIPE. Expected results: Firefox doesn't crash. Additional info: GDB output: Program received signal SIGPIPE, Broken pipe. Btw this crash seems to be specific to Fedora build of Firefox. When I run the firefox binary provided by Mozilla it's stable - no crashes.
Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
