Description František Zatloukal 2015-09-27 09:26:59 UTC
Description of problem:
Running UNetbootin as root in Wayland fails. UNetbootin under unprivileged user runs without any issue.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
unetbootin-613-1.fc23.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run UNetbootin as root on Wayland

Actual results:
Command sudo unetbootin fails with:
No protocol specified
unetbootin: cannot connect to X server

Command su - -c '/usr/bin/unetbootin' ends with:
unetbootin: cannot connect to X server :0

Expected results:
UNetbootin should work on Wayland without any issues.

Comment 1 František Zatloukal 2015-09-27 09:32:02 UTC
Just small update, any XWayland app that needs root access doesn't work ATM. So it's probably not UNetbootin problem.
