Comment 1 IBM Bug Proxy 2015-10-09 13:02:27 UTC
The EPEL 7 SRPM for jsom
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/SRPMS/j/josm-0-0.66.8109svn.el7.src.rpm
does not build correctly in Mock on s390x.

The spec file has java-devel as a build requirement. However, this package is only able to be built by openJDK, as it relies on openJDK specific features.

Building this package using IBM JDK will result in some symbol-not-found error.

We have a bunch of Java packages missing in EPEL-7, starting with apache-commons-jcs. Not sure what to do about them.

With no activity in this bug for years, I'm now closing this on the IBM side.
If the problem still needs to be addressed, please re-open or preferably open a new bug.

Thanks.
