alpine-2.11-3.fc22.x86_64 has maildir support. alpine-2.20-1.fc22.x86_64 does not. This makes it useless for my purposes. At a guess, the patches at http://patches.freeiz.com/alpine/info/all.html were not applied this time.
Looks like we ended up using the wrong (unpatched) sources for the 2.20 release alright. I can take care of that oversight.
