Description Jeremy Lindop 2015-10-12 07:51:29 EDT
Document URL:
http://docs.jboss.org/drools/release/6.3.0.Final/drools-docs/html_single/#d0e22063
Section Number and Name:
22.2.1. Bootstrap switches
Table 22.1. Kie Server bootstrap switches

Describe the issue:
The example for the switch org.kie.server.controller does not work. The example in the docs is "http://localhost:8080/kie-wb/rest".

The example at http://mswiderski.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/unified-kie-execution-server-part-3.html says it it should be "http://localhost:8080/kie-wb/rest/controller"

I've tried this and it seems to work. With the URL in the docs, when I start kie-server I get this response in the console where I start kie-server:

12:35:30,275 WARN [org.kie.server.services.impl.controller.DefaultRestControllerImpl] (KieServer-ControllerConnect) Exception encountered while syncing with controller at http://localhost:8080/kie-wb-6.3.0.Final-eap6_4/rest/server/kie-server1 error Error while sending PUT request to http://localhost:8080/kie-wb-6.3.0.Final-eap6_4/rest/server/kie-server1 response code 404
