Description Bill Sanford 2015-10-28 14:21:02 UTC
Description of problem:
I have installed RHEV-M and don't have the 'ovirt-engine-extension-aaa-ldap-setup' command since I didn't install the RPM 'ovirt-engine-extension-aaa-ldap-setup.' In prior versions of RHEV-M, the LDAP command was used with the 'rhevm-manage-domains' command and only RHEV-M was the package that was needed to install.

I shouldn't have to install the additional LDAP package to use RHEV-M like I used to before with 'rhevm-manage-domains add --domain=spice.ml2.eng.bos.redhat.com --provider=IPA --user=rhevadmin --add-permissions'

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEV-M 3.6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See above

Additional info:

Right now, I am timing out on the TLV server and not able to setup the LDAP portion of RHEV-M.

We are trying to stop using monolithic approach.
The fact that product was monolithic in the past is incorrect.
Sysadmin should install packages he use, in time I hope there will be more and more optional product features offered.

The timeout you got is an issue for infra to fix, unrelated to this request.
