Comment 3 Fedora Update System 2015-10-31 13:16:57 UTC
kwin-5.4.2-3.fc22 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 22. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-fce1600839

Comment 4 Rex Dieter 2015-10-31 13:17:55 UTC
either install the update or switch back to breeze window decorations (as a temporary workaround until you can get the update)

Comment 5 Elbin Pallimalil 2015-11-01 03:49:16 UTC
kwin-5.4.2-3.fc22 does not fix the issue. The screen still randomly freezes.

Comment 6 Rex Dieter 2015-11-01 12:02:45 UTC
Which window decoration are you using?

Maybe it's not the same one as fixed in that update then,
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346857

(this only corresponds with the first backtrace you posted), the second one was indeed different.

Comment 7 Elbin Pallimalil 2015-11-01 14:19:27 UTC
I am using Plastik window decoration.

Comment 8 Rex Dieter 2015-11-01 14:25:19 UTC
OK, that update fixes at least one known crasher when using plastik.

If it still crashes, please post a fresh backtrace.

"hangs" are something else (and probably deserves a separate bug report)

Yes, separate bug please

Comment 15 Elbin Pallimalil 2015-11-12 02:52:51 UTC
Those updates do not fix this issue.

Comment 16 Rex Dieter 2015-11-12 13:00:22 UTC
Like I said previously, you posted 2 backtraces, the updates here only fixes the first one (supposedly)
