Description of problem: On web console, there is "View Archive" button for pod log page, but no "View Archive" button for build log page. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): openshift v3.1.0.0 kubernetes v1.2.0-alpha.1-1107-g4c8e6f4 etcd 2.1.2 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create app in project. 2.View build logs on web console. 3. Actual results: 2.Under the log label of build, there is no "View Archive" button. Expected results: 2.Should have "View Archive" button to view build log in kibana. Additional info:
This is expected for now. For builds the UI does not know the name of the pod for the build, which is needed to jump to kibana. We will be addressing that in the next release.
Tested against fork_ami_openshift3_userinterface_public_561_195 openshift v1.1.1-144-gf078c0f kubernetes v1.1.0-origin-1107-g4c8e6f4 etcd 2.2.2 There is "View Archive" link on build log page now, the bug is fixed, will verify it once it is ON_QA.
The fix has not been merged in latest enterprise puddle:3.1/2016-01-28.1/. Waiting for a new puddle containing the fix to verified the bug.
Checked on enterprise puddle 3.1/2016-02-01.1, it still doesn't contain the fix codes for the bug. When will the codes be merged in enterprise?
fork_ami w/fix coming your way, comment will be on trello card.
Updated fork_ami in progress, w/ latest APIGroups fix (prev broke logs)
Checked on puddle 3.2/2016-02-16.1/, after config logging on master, there is "View Archive" link on build log page now, so move the bug to Verified.
