Description Ronald Verbeek 2015-11-08 15:05:29 UTC
Created attachment 1091278 [details]
lshw output.

Description of problem:
Created live usb from Fedora-Live-Workstation-x86_64-23-10.iso. Live USB works on other laptop so it must be created OK. On my HP Pavillion laptop the live USB boots, but freezes after kernel boot, but before I can login. Also tried with the alternate boot with the blue/white progressbar in the bottom of the screen with the same result. When the progressbar is completed the laptop freezes an I can not login. Also a Ctrl-Alt-F1, F2 etc does not bring up a tty window,

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Tried several times with the same result.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot from live USB
2.
3.

Actual results:
Freeze before login screen

Expected results:
Login screen

Additional info:
Attached my lshw output.

Comment 1 Ronald Verbeek 2015-11-10 22:30:51 UTC
Burned the ISO to a DVD and from that I can boot. Must be a compatability problem between my laptop and the USB pendrive.

Bug can be closed.
