Description of problem:

I would like to have grip for EPEL7 if possible.

Should be no problem.

You are aware that it is completely unmaintained for more than 10 years now?

I am still using it for all my ripping needs (which is not very often anymore) but I am happy with it. I requested the epel7 branch and I will build it. If you still want to use it, it should soon be available.

grip-3.2.0-49.el7 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 7 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
If you want to test the update, you can install it with
$ su -c 'yum --enablerepo=epel-testing update grip'
