RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Red Hat Product Errata RHSA-2016:2596 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Moderate: pcs security, bug fix, and enhancement update 2016-11-03 12:11:34 UTC

Description Tomas Jelinek 2015-11-12 12:21:23 UTC
It is possible to specify a resource's position within a group using pcs CLI. This can be done both when adding the resource to a group and when the resource already is in a group. This functionality is missing in web UI.

Comment 1 Ondrej Mular 2016-08-04 01:16:36 UTC
proposed fix:
https://github.com/ClusterLabs/pcs/commit/12a05cc0f70a11294582a310e4ccf744ae6

Test:
When creating group in web UI, under new group name there is list of resources. User can change order of resources with drag and drop.

When resource is selected in web UI, on the right side there is section Group. Resources can be placed after/before any resource which is already in group by new group changing form.

Comment 2 Ivan Devat 2016-08-05 15:10:57 UTC
Before Fix:
[vm-rhel72-1 ~] $ rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.9.152-5.el7.x86_64

There is no support for move resources within a resource group in web UI.

After Fix:
[vm-rhel72-1 ~] $ rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.9.152-6.el7.x86_64

When creating group in web UI, under new group name there is list of resources. User can change order of resources with drag and drop.

When resource is selected in web UI, on the right side there is section Group. Resources can be placed after/before any resource which is already in group by new group changing form.

Comment 7 Ivan Devat 2016-09-14 15:50:29 UTC
Before Fix:

[vm-rhel72-1 ~] $ rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.9.152-8.el7.x86_64

It behaves as described in comment5.

After Fix:
[vm-rhel72-1 ~] $ rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.9.152-9.el7.x86_64

Resource group is not selected in "Add Resource" form ("None" is selected) when adding test4. After selecting group all their resources are in resource order selector.
