Description of problem: I ran a CFME deployment, I had a syntax problem in the deploy code and the task failed. Fixed the code problem and restarted/resumed the task. See the task is being updated and progress bar is advancing, but it's "red" and not green and "error" is still displayed on the webui. Let's see if we can determine a task has been resumed, if it has been, clear prior error and follow it's progress.
Pretty sure this has been fixed during the course of development, I was able to simulate a failure and resume and have the error clear / bar switch back to green. I also know redeploy will successfully handle this.
I'm not clear on what the exact steps are in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1281972#c0 , but here's what I did: 1.) Start RHV deployment. 2.) Shut down the Foreman discovery hosts before the content sync tasks are complete, so that the provisioning step will fail. 3.) See the RHV progress bar fail at 10% due to timeout during 'Deploy Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization' sub task failure. 4.) Resume the 'Deploy Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization' task in Monitor > Tasks. 5.) Go to '5B. Installation Progress' in the deployment. 6.) See RHV progress bar continue to move to higher percentages, but progress bar stays red. Once the progress bar reaches 100%, it does turn green. Is resuming a failed deployment from Monitor > Tasks actually a supported workflow? If so, then I would expect the progress bar to turn blue once the task is resumed, and not stay red until it reaches 100%.
