Created attachment 1096234 [details] Patch file to require a topic to #startmeeting. Also ensures that the meeting name can be used with the save mechanism when #endmeeting is invoked. Description of problem: Meetbot does not require a topic to start a meeting. As per fedora infrastucture ticket https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/4952#comment:6 it should. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ALL How reproducible: Enter an IRC channel where meetbot is running and #startmeeting . The meeting will start without a topic. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter meetbot policed IRC channel. 2. enter #startmeeting 3. Actual results: Meeting starts with no topic set. Expected results: Meeting should not start without a topic and shoudl instead return an error. Additional info: I have attached a patch that will require a topic to start a meeting in the form of #startmeeting <topic> . I have tested this patch on my own implementation of meetbot and it works as expected. Please add this patch to the package, deploy and reload meetbot as needed to pick up change.
