Description Jiri Holusa 2015-11-26 14:08:46 UTC
When testing in Karaf with ER2, I found out that features.xml file is missing in the infinispan-remote artifact.

In ER1, the file is present there: infinispan-remote-6.4.0.ER1-redhat-1-features.xml

Comment 3 Martin Gencur 2015-12-17 12:45:18 UTC
Sorry guys. I think this BZ was misunderstood. The feature.xml file should not be inside a jar file but along with other jars for infinispan-remote in our maven repository.
When I look at ER1, the file is there:
jboss-datagrid-6.6.0-maven-repository/org/infinispan/infinispan-remote/6.4.0.ER1-redhat-1/infinispan-remote-6.4.0.ER1-redhat-1-features.xml

With ER4, it is in the jar file which is wrong.

Needless to say, the bug description above is not very clear.

See details in http://docbuilder.usersys.redhat.com/12539/#Installing_the_Hot_Rod_client_feature_in_Karaf for details about installing the HotRod client. This might shed some light on this.
