mouse is unusable under epiphany+wayland on gnome shell (was:epiphany aka 'web' can not be closed under gnome+wayland)

Description of problem:
some app opened eiphany to display a web page. now, if i click on the top right 'X' button nothing happens. Actually, i can not use the mouse under epiphany at all! In 'lg' i see MetaWindowWayland on the first line.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
$ rpm -q epiphany
Steps to Reproduce:
$ lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)
$ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 4.2.5-300.fc23.i686+PAE #1 SMP Tue Oct 27 04:54:06 UTC 2015 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I've restrted in refular gnome shell session and there it works fine. I'll retest now under wayland to see if it can be reproduced.
eek! i can not reproduce it :(
login back to wayland the problem is no longer there.
