Comment 3 Prasad Desala 2016-08-09 05:39:26 UTC
This issue is not seen on gluster version: 3.7.9-10.el7rhgs.x86_64

Here are the steps that were followed,

1) Created a distribute replica (2x2) volume and started it.
2) Fuse mounted the volume and started untarring kernel packages from multiple sessions.
3) While file creation are in progress on the client, added 4 bricks to the volume.

From all the sessions, Kernel untar is happening without any issues/error messages.

Also, repeated the test on a NFS mount and no issues are seen.

Hence, moving the bug state to Verified.
