It appears based on dist-git that iniparser was intended to be retired. However, it does not seem to have been completely retired...e.g., it still exists in F23: iniparser-3.1-6.fc22.x86_64 Also, it still shows as active in pkgdb. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_remove_a_package_at_end_of_life
Hello Scott. iniparser is still required by 2 other Fedora packages and that's why it cannot be retired. Except this one, there are no bugs reported against this package and it works like expected. I'm closing this, but feel free to fill bugs against the dependent software, to give the maintainers enough time to redesign their software to use a different parser and once done, I'll be happy to retire the package. Thanks for the understanding. Regards, Jaromir.
OK, then in that case it should not be deleted in dist-git: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/iniparser.git/ Also, it needs to be built for F23 and Rawhide.
Oh, you're right. For some reason it's in a strange state. Let me check what can be done.
