Description of problem
======================

Booting my olde laptoppe (a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Xi 3650) running:

4.2.6-200.fc22.x86_64 KDE

the following can be found in the kernel log after the network has come up:

Adjusting hpet more than 11% (2074996363 vs 2601267907)
[drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
[drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe B FIFO underrun

Sometimes it is just "pipe A FIFO" which underruns.

Is this a problem? Maybe:

I noticed that the KDE boot screen (the one with the cogwheel shown before the login prompt appears) takes a LONG time to finish after this message appears.

Today the boot didn't finish at all and I had to reboot from the text console.

But maybe it's just the hardware getting flaky.
