Description of problem: when I login under wayland, open calc, and select cells - the cell is not highlighted (although the column and row identifiers are, just the not cell itself.) When i log into the non wayland session - calc behaves like normal and the active cell is highlighted. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. start fedora 23 gnome session under wayland 2. open calc 3. select cells and notice the cell itself does not get highlighted. Actual results: no cell is highlighted Expected results: the selected cell should be highlighted Additional info:
Reassigning to LibreOffice. This bugzilla component is for the command-line utility "calc", which predates LibreOffice Calc by about 20 years. :)
Is this with or without libreoffice-gtk3 installed ? And what version of LibreOffice is this (rpm -q libreoffice-core). All looks ok to me with libreoffice-5.0.3.2-7.fc23 installed
Caolan, I had switched back to x11 - then I went to logout to switch back to wayland to test and I could not logout and had to reboot. When I came back in that cell highlighting was working. I suppose I just had a messed up session on my first try of wayland/calc. So it appears to be all working now. I will also install the libreoffice-gtk3 to check that out as I had not known of that till I saw you mention it.
Caolan, I have re-opened this as the problem continues. I do not have libreoffice-gtk3 installed. the output of rpm -q libreoffice-core is: RPM version 4.13.0-rc1 When I go into the about page of calc it says: Version 5.0.3.2 Build ID: 5.0.3.2-11.fc23
fyi, after I installed libreoffice-gtk3 The cell highlighting in calc under wayland now works - thanks for the help.
