Description Jean-Francois Saucier 2015-12-04 13:32:38 UTC
Document URL:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/openshift-enterprise/version-3.1/installation-and-configuration/#configuring-authentication

Section Number and Name:
Complete section 5

Describe the issue:
During this section, we modify the master configuration file at a lot of places. But it's not clear the we should restart the master service if we change this file (only one sub-section state it). So, if someone want to configure htpasswd auth (section 5.2.3), they have no instruction to restart the master service after changing the configuration.

Suggestions for improvement:
Maybe suggest to restart the master as a note like it's done in section 2.6.3.2, example 2.6.

This has been mentioned throughout these docs: https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/latest/install_config/configuring_authentication.html.

Closing this bug.
