Another user experienced a similar problem: Start Calibre (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1291712 did not occur after a reboot, so this was possible. This crash might be related.) Click the icon for 'Add books to the Calibre library' *crash* reporter: libreport-2.6.3 backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: python2 /usr/bin/calibre --detach crash_function: QXcbWindow::setParent executable: /usr/bin/python2.7 global_pid: 4751 kernel: 4.2.6-301.fc23.x86_64 package: calibre-2.42.0-1.fc23 reason: python2.7 killed by SIGSEGV runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1001
Does it always crash when you do that? Or was this a one-time event?
Yes, it is repeatable. I can't add any books. Calibre crashes every time.
Has it always crashed? Or did it work normally in the past? Trying to see if an update is causing this issue...
This looks the same as several other recent crashes reported KDE file dialogues: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356583
