Description of problem: Timed login in GDM fails to start if there is a trailing space after the username Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gdm-2.30.4-64.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: 1. Add timed login parameters to /etc/gdm/custom.conf TimedLoginEnable=true TimedLogin=username_ <- _ means a blank space TimedLoginDelay=5 2. Restart GDM pkill gdm-binary Actual results: No automated login after 5 secs Expected results: After 5 secs the username should be logged in automatically. Additional info: The same behaviour occurs for TimedLoginEnable parameter. TimedLogin Delay works as expected.
