This bug did not make the OSP 8.0 release.  It is being deferred to OSP 10.

Due to configuration gaps in dvr yaml files, there is no external connectivity from compute nodes .

Issue was documentation, and as Alex pointed out we already have a bug open on that. The technical Director DVR integration is sound.
