Description Thom Carlin 2016-01-05 17:21:44 UTC
Description of problem:

katello-disconnected does not clear out /var/lib/pulp/published/yum/http/repos between runs

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

TP2

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup desired repositories for disconnected (as per manual)
2. katello-disconnected export --repos rhel-6-server-rpms-6Server-x86_64 --target /locationA
3. katello-disconnected export --repos rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms-6Server-x86_64 --target /locationB
4. Examine content-export-xx files

Actual results:

/locationB/content-export-xx tar archive includes BOTH rhel-6-server-rpms-6Server-x86_64 AND rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms-6Server-x86_64

Expected results:

/locationB/content-export-xx tar archive includes ONLY rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms-6Server-x86_64

Additional info:

Workaround is to clear out /var/lib/pulp/published/yum/http/repos

Pulp version 2.6.0.17-.el7sat from rhel-7-server-satellite-6.1-rpms

Comment 4 Bryan Kearney 2016-07-26 19:07:20 UTC
Moving 6.2 bugs out to sat-backlog.

Comment 7 Chris Duryee 2016-09-27 11:37:38 UTC
Thom,

katello-disconnected was replaced by inter-server sync in Satellite 6.2, and is no longer available.

I am marking as closed/currentrelease since 6.2 uses a different import/export process, but feel free to re-open if you need this fixed in 6.1 still.
