qemu-guest-agent should be rebased to QEMU 2.5 that contains several important fixes. In addition, separation from qemu-kvm-rhev should be finished so no shared patches are used.
There's no important change in 2.6.0 so we won't rebase to 2.6 and stay with 2.5.0.
There are 2 importants new features in 2.5.0: 1) guest-exec 2) qemu-ga.conf system configuration I imagine for 1) we may want to blacklist it by default. For 2), see discussion in #1101556 : nothing to change imho
Ok, (In reply to Marc-Andre Lureau from comment #3) > There are 2 importants new features in 2.5.0: > 1) guest-exec > 2) qemu-ga.conf system configuration > > I imagine for 1) we may want to blacklist it by default. > Ok, can you create BZ for this and prepare patch? > For 2), see discussion in #1101556 : nothing to change imho Agree, I moved BZ to modified and will add it to errata.
