Description of problem: Annoying screen flick on Sky Lake (Surface Pro 4) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-4.3.3-301.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 23 2. Install everything from updates-testing 3. Actual results: Screen OK, then Flick, OK. FLICK. Flick. Expected results: Something easier on the eyes. Additional info: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sky Lake Integrated Graphics (rev 07) Also happens on monitor attached to external mini DisplPort.
For reference, the flicker does not occur with 4.2.8-300. Also with 4.2.8-300, the external mini-DisplayPort does not work.
Skylake support didn't really land until 4.3, but it isn't complete in 4.3 either. 4.4 is likely a better option but it will be a few weeks before that hits Fedora 23.
