Comment 2 Tom Hughes 2016-01-19 16:19:53 UTC
Please, if you're going to report bugs, include the actual details of the problem. Don't hide them away in another bug.

I assume that http://sourceforge.net/p/libdwarf/code/ci/2192c62b5c54a432010ed358bf8147657587463c/ is the fix for this?

Comment 3 Tom Hughes 2016-01-19 17:22:28 UTC
For the record, and given that even the CVE request doesn't actually tell you how to reproduce this, the answer is to run:

valgrind dwarfdump -F awbug5.elf

Where awbug5.elf is the file from the CVE request at http://seclists.org/oss-sec/2016/q1/135.

Comment 4 Tom Hughes 2016-01-19 17:27:54 UTC
Still seems to be an issue in the latest upstream code so have reported it upstream.
