Description Jason Haar 2016-01-25 18:06:42 UTC
Description of problem:

I continually have problems with remmina breaking Gnome. I think it only happens when I've got RDP sessions running. What happens is I'll be over in another workspace and discover I cannot leave that workspace: swooping my mouse up into the corner doesn't lead to Gnome allowing me to change workspace, Alt-TAB no longer works, Alt-F2 ditto. I am "stuck".

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Up to a couple times a week

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:

If I Ctr-Alt-F4 and log into a console, I can kill remmina. Then going back to Gnome shows it's totally fixed again

I'm assuming this is a remmina problem, but I guess you could argue this is actually a bug with gnome-desktop? ie should it allow an application to disable it's own calls like this?

Comment 1 Jason Haar 2016-01-25 18:08:22 UTC
Whoops "network glitches" was a comment meaning if I change networks (eg work/home) that obviously has an adverse affect on remmina sessions like RDP - and this problem can always be traced back to such a network change. I assume it causes remmina to block - and somehow that "flows" out into gnome-desktop
