Description Lukáš Hellebrandt 2016-02-08 10:20:31 UTC
Description of problem:
On RHEL 7, there is a version of Perl missing deprecated capability perl(Switch). Spacewalk-utils can not be installed as a result.

How reproducible:
Deterministic

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On a RHEL 7 machine, "yum install spacewalk-utils"

Actual results:
Error: Package: spacewalk-utils-2.5.6-1.el7.noarch (spacewalk-nightly)
           Requires: perl(Switch)

Expected results:
spacewalk-utils package gets installed

Comment 1 Lukáš Hellebrandt 2016-02-08 10:56:15 UTC
Spacewalk requires Optional repo on RHEL7. Perl(Switch) is available from there.

This BZ closed some time during 2.5, 2.6 or 2.7. Adding to 2.7 tracking bug.
