checking for boost version... configure: error: could not determine boost version The boost version configure test fails to link because the hardened LDFLAGS are used but the spec overrides CXXFLAGS. Removing the CXXFLAGS override fixes that, but then you get: checking for boost version... 1_60 configure: error: boost version 1_60 is not supported This package only supports up to boost 1.58. It may be possible to copy and adjust the 1.58 support (which is the same as several versions back) for 1.60, but I can't be sure.
